For fifteen years, he worked as a Corporate Safety Manager, supervising two production facilities and more than 30 steel, civil and coatings construction crews simultaneously throughout the continental United States. Additional responsibilities included the oversight of environmental clean ups, as well as various other state, federal and local safety and health, and environmental compliance inspections, and all resulting legal cases.

“My passion for safety began when I was in Junior College and joined the Williamson County, IL Fire Department. This experience fueled my passion and desire to work in Safety. Once I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), with an Industrial Risk & Safety degree, my focus was to partner with employees to learn their trade and work collaboratively with them to create safer working environments. Reflecting on my career, some of my fondest memories are of participating in cooperative culture changes that were driven by shared goals and understanding between employees and management. I have also been motivated by the darker side of this industry, where in the worst cases, individuals lose their lives to accidents that are preventable. Witnessing the aftermath of such tragedies has always reminded me of the importance of this work. The experiences of my career allow me to partner with my clients to safeguard against such unspeakable outcomes. ITS of America works diligently every day to prepare individuals to engage safely within their working environments through face to face education and hands-on learning tools.”
